Now, a tab feature in Windows 11 Explorer has started rolling out in the development channel for Windows 11 Insider users in conjunction with Preview Build 25136.
The new feature makes it possible to have multiple tabs directly in Windows Explorer 11. Something that has long been in demand among users.
Microsoft will now gather feedback regarding the new feature. When it may appear in the standard version of Windows 11 is currently unclear.
In addition to the tabs, the latest preview version also includes a number of less visible technical improvements as well as dynamic widgets in the taskbar.
