Kamenz (dpa/sn) – The number of corporate insolvencies has increased significantly in Saxony. In the first half of the year, 377 companies submitted a corresponding application to the district courts. That was an increase of almost a third compared to the same period last year, the State Statistical Office announced on Tuesday in Kamenz. Creditors had registered claims of 270 million euros. Companies in the construction industry were hit the hardest.
