Sharp Aquos R6 is a bloated mobile phone with a 240 Hz display and a single camera

Company Sharp has just officially introduced its flagship Aquos R6, which is designed for the Japanese market. However, this is very unique model in several ways. On the back there is the largest camera in phones ever, the IGZO OLED display was used for the first time and many other interesting things. So let’s imagine the phone.

As already mentioned, we will find on the back a giant 1-inch sensor that was developed together with Leica not only in the field of the lens as such, but also its software settings. It has a resolution 20 MPx and aperture f / 1.9. According to Press Releases the camera stands out not only during the day, but especially at night. Look for no lens other than the ToF sensor here.

The front side is then covered 6.67 ″ IGZO OLED panel with a resolution of 2,730 x 1,260 pixels. The refresh rate is dynamic and changes from 1 to 240 Hz so as to achieve the ideal ratio between fluidity and energy consumption. In the middle there is a shot with a 12 MPx selfie camera and we can also count on an integrated fingerprint reader.

The chipset is ticking inside, of course Snapdragon 888 and helps it with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The endurance is then taken care of by a 5,000 mAh battery. The phone will be offered in black and white, but the price is still a mystery. Anyway, this is a very interesting phone and it is a great pity that it will most likely not reach us.
