Sharon Raj Murder Case will be investigated by the Kerala police themselves

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala police will continue to investigate the case of the murder of Parashala Sharon. The legal advice given by the government defendant is that there is no legal impediment to investigating Kerala or Tamil Nadu. Sharon’s parents reached the Prime Minister’s office and petitioned that the case not be transferred to Tamil Nadu. Sharon’s father Jayaraj said that even though the Prime Minister was not present, he was assured that the Kerala police would investigate him. DYSP Detective Officer KJ Johnson informed that Supreme Court rulings had also been reviewed and that there were no legal grounds to investigate the case.

The Kerala police had some doubts about the jurisdiction of the case. The conspiracy to kill Sharon and execution, destruction of evidence and recovery from Thondi are all in the Tamil Nadu area. Meanwhile, the death occurred at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital. One case was recorded by the Parashala police. Concerns were also expressed that if anyone raised these issues while going to trial after filing the indictment sheet, the case would be affected. Legal advice was therefore requested.

Greeshma, who was in the medical college hospital after drinking the lotion from the bathroom while in police custody, was discharged last night. She then she was transferred to the Attakulangara Women’s Prison. Amma Sindhu is also here. Sindhu and her brother Nirmal Kumar will be taken into police custody today. The police are asking for custody of Greeshma today. Tomorrow he should be taken into custody. He is meant to bring all three people together. The court of Neyyatinkara ordered the appearance of the investigating officer DySP.
