(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 20 – The parents of Sharon Verzeni, the 33-year-old woman killed three weeks ago in Terno d’Isola, left the provincial command of the Carabinieri in Bergamo around 10 pm this evening, more than seven hours after they entered. Father Bruno and mother Maria Teresa left by car to return to their home in Bottanuco and did not make any statements to reporters outside the barracks. The content of their interrogations is not known (they were questioned as people informed of the facts and therefore without a lawyer), but it is presumed that the investigators focused on Sharon’s private life, in which the Carabinieri are digging to find a possible explanation for the crime and thus trace the killer. As with her sister, brother and brother-in-law yesterday, today’s interrogations were also scheduled as part of the investigation. It is not excluded that Sharon’s partner, Sergio Ruocco, may also be questioned again in the coming days (it would be the third time). (HANDLE).
