Last Sunday, Expo Center Sharjah concluded the activities of the 53rd edition of the Middle East Watch and Jewelery Exhibition, which was held under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, after it succeeded It attracted more than 75 thousand visitors, which confirms that it is the most important and largest event in this sector in the Middle East region, as more than 500 exhibitors participated in it, representing international companies and brands in the field of watches, gold, diamonds, emeralds, precious stones and rare pieces over a period of five days.
The closing day witnessed the announcement of the lucky winners of the draws, which included a Cadillac car, a kilogram of gold, and valuable prizes of rings and necklaces designed from the best types of diamonds. They witnessed for the first time the display of a piece of raw emerald weighing 4 kilograms, which is considered one of the rarest pieces in the world. In addition to unique designs by major brands specializing in jewelry and watches, including a display of the longest trembling watch in the world, inspired by the ancient Emirati heritage and made of pure gold, measuring 2.2 meters in length, worth 1.3 million dirhams (about 350 thousand dollars).
It also witnessed the display of exclusive and rare international pieces, including a scooter and a bicycle covered in 24-karat gold plates worth 3 million dirhams, more than 10,000 gold pieces with hand-crafted designs, and rare Egyptian antiquities plated with 24-karat gold whose price reached 4 million dirhams (about a million dollars) and thousands. From gold necklaces, necklaces, bracelets and rings with unique designs and studded with precious stones and diamonds, and a collection of the finest jewelry, gold jewelry and luxury watches.

The exhibition recorded distinguished participation by a group of Emirati designers on the “Emirates Jewelers” platform, which displayed innovative collections of gold and diamond jewelry of a global nature, with unique designs inspired by Emirati heritage, with the participation of 20 male and female designers, 8 of whom participated for the first time, and displayed hundreds of diverse pieces. Among the jewelry and jewelry made of diamonds and gold, within the platform that includes 420 members, through which the Sharjah Chamber embodies its endeavor to develop an environment that supports the growth of entrepreneurship.

The major international companies participating in the exhibition expressed their keenness to display their latest products and fashion lines of jewelry, precious stones and pearls. Including the Italian pavilion, which included more than 41 companies, along with a selection of the most prominent Italian designers and names in the world of gold and jewelry.
