SHARJAH, 4th August, WAM/ The Sharjah Sports Council discussed, during a joint meeting with a delegation from the Department of Public Works at the council’s headquarters, the mechanism for establishing the new Dibba Al-Hisn stadium in Al-Hisn Island, in translation of the royal directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to quickly complete the construction of a new stadium and headquarters. The meeting was attended by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, Chairman of the Council, Nabil Muhammad Ashour, Director of the Support Services Department, Eng. Asmaa Al-Balushi, Head of the Sports Facilities Follow-up Department in the Department, Eng. Mona Obaid Al-Shamsi, Head of the Design Division in the department, and Engineer Khalifa Al-Suwaidi, Mechanical Engineer, Executive Projects, and on the part of the department, Eng. Abdullah Al-Tunaiji, Director Branch management and Eng. Iman Al-Naqbi, head of the projects department in the department in Dibba Al-Hisn.
The meeting discussed the various requirements that the project needs, in its basic form, and meets the needs of the project, and work on setting priorities and a vision that keeps pace with its importance, especially since it is in a distinguished and very important geographical location with its view of the sea and mountains, where it is planned to be at a wonderful creative level by all standards and as a new mathematical architectural masterpiece in The emirate is a real addition to the sports facilities that characterize the emirate.
His Excellency Al-Hazami stressed that the new Dibba Al-Hisn Stadium, the Council and the Department of Public Works aspire to be a wonderful sports interface in the emirate, joining the distinguished facilities it enjoys, thanks to the unlimited support of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and as a new gift for sports and athletes in the emirate, which is full of wonderful nature that contributes to Decorating sports projects such as the upcoming Dibba Al Hisn Stadium project.
His Excellency Al-Hazami praised the distinguished cooperation of the Department with the Council, pointing out that all efforts are in the framework of the completion of the new project to be a new sporting achievement that adds an aesthetic touch to the Emirate’s sports facilities.
