Sharjah Islamic Bank wins the “Social Impact” Medal

Sharjah Islamic Bank announced that it has received a high-level honor in appreciation of its quality initiatives and proven track record in the field of sustainability and social responsibility by obtaining the Community Impact Medal (Silver Category) presented by the National Fund for Social Responsibility (MAGRAA).

According to WAM, the Community Impact Medal constitutes a national mark of social responsibility to evaluate, approve and reward institutions’ practices in the field of social responsibility and sustainable impact that are consistent with environmental, social and governance standards in recognition of their activities in the field of sustainable impact, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and national priorities.

The award ceremony took place recently as part of the first session of the “Purposeful World” Summit, which was held in Dubai by the Emirati consulting company “Ghaya” in partnership with the National Fund for Corporate Social Responsibility (MAGRAA) under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy, under the slogan “Influential Global Economic Rise.”
