Sharjah HR Department Signs Partnership Agreement with Investment Bank for Waffar Discounts Programme

On Wednesday, the Sharjah Human Resources Department signed an agreement for the Investment Bank to join the Waffar Discounts Programme, as part of the department’s endeavor to achieve qualitative additions and build strategic partnerships that serve more than 90,000 beneficiaries of the Wafer Discounts Card.

On Wednesday, the Sharjah Human Resources Department signed an agreement for the Investment Bank to join the Waffar Discounts Programme, as part of the department’s endeavor to achieve qualitative additions and build strategic partnerships that serve more than 90,000 beneficiaries of the Wafer Discounts Card.

The agreement was signed at the department’s main headquarters in the Al Layyah area, where it was signed by His Excellency Engineer Omar Khalfan bin Huraymel Al Shamsi, member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, and head of the department, on behalf of the Human Resources Department. On behalf of the Investment Bank, Mr. Ahmed Abu Eida, CEO of the Investment Bank, in the presence of officials from both sides.

According to the concluded agreement, Wafer card holders will receive special and distinctive offers from the Investment Bank during transactions provided through bank account services, investment deposits, and credit loans of various types: personal loans, real estate loans, car financing, and other seasonal offers.

In this regard, His Excellency Engineer Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi welcomed this addition to the list of entities of the Wafer Programme, the Investment Bank, which embodies economic importance in the country, pointing out the importance of this cooperation in achieving integration between the government and private sectors in the country, and in addition to the positive balance of the Wafer and Enhancement Programme. Opportunities for companies from various economic sectors to join it.

His Excellency stressed that the department is keen to build sustainable strategic partnerships with all sectors that serve the community, meet development requirements, and support the program’s efforts towards opening special offer outlets and better services that contribute to strengthening the efforts of the Emirate of Sharjah by providing the requirements for a decent living for community members.

For his part, His Excellency Ahmed Abu Eida, CEO of the Investment Bank, said: “We are always keen to strengthen cooperation with our partners in the government sector, and we are very proud of this strategic and distinguished partnership with the Department of Human Resources in the Government of Sharjah, given its effective role in improving the quality of life and moving the wheel of Economy, which enhances the economic progress of the Emirate of Sharjah, in line with the directives and vision of the wise leadership.”

The signing of the agreement from the Human Resources Department was attended by: Saif Daifis, Director of the Office of the Head of the Department, and Mohammed Sultan Al-Hajri, Head of the Human Resources Department. From the Investment Bank, Ms. Maha Al-Banna, Acting Head of Retail Banking, and Mr. Helmy Abdullah, Head of Corporate and Financial Banking, were present at the signing. And a number of officials from both sides.
