Reda Saleem (Dubai)

Sharjah retained the Cup of His Highness, Vice-President of the State for Men’s Handball, after defeating Maliha 33-26, in the final match that was held in the Khorfakkan Club Hall, which is the third time that the “King” has won the title, after the 2015-2016 and 2021-2022 seasons. It is also the team’s third championship this season, after winning the Super Cup and the Emirates Cup.
The final match and the coronation ceremony were attended by Abdul Salam Rabie, Vice President of the Handball Federation, Issa Hilal, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Club, Nasser Al Hammadi, Secretary General of the Federation, and a number of members of the Federation.
The confrontation came strong between the two teams, and the result remained close, thanks to the brilliance of the Egyptian Mahmoud Noman, the player of Maliha, who scored the largest number of goals for his team against Sharjah, at a time when the “king” played with all his might to prevent the opponent’s surprises, and the difference remained a goal until the score reached 8- 6 in favor of the “King”, who decided the first half in his favor 19-13, and in the second half, Maliha tried to return, but the goal difference increased, and the “King” dominated the course of the game, and decided the confrontation by a difference of 7 goals 33-26.
The meeting was moderated by Ali Jaafar and Yasser Al-Naqbi, and on the table were Rabea Khamis, Nabil Abdullah, the technical observer Fadel Ghuloom, and the administrative observer Jamal Saif Al Shamsi.
