The Sharjah Charitable Society provided financial assistance worth 100,000 dirhams, to support education programs given to socially disadvantaged people and children from needy families who had not previously enrolled in education due to social circumstances, and to cover the fees to pay for those in need.
Sindiya Abdul Rahman, Acting Director of the Department of Community Cohesion of the Province, received the check from Muhammad Ibrahim Bin Nassar, Director of the Department of Institutional Communication and Marketing at the Association.
Ben Nassar said that the association continues to support students who are connected to all service centers, especially the Department of Social Services, which plays an effective role in supporting for those who lack learning and those who cannot pay tuition fees through the “Midday” project.
He pointed out that the society was eager to provide this support, which shows the level of interest they have in students, an interest that arises from the vision and guidelines of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Governor of Sharjah, as science represents the basic building block for investing in people, taking care of them, and meeting their needs.
He explained that this support given is an extension of the giving process that the society has been following, out of a sense of its responsibility and social responsibility, because in the three years he left and gave support worth two million dirhams, which included the implementation of the Eid. Al-Adha Joy campaign and the purchase of medical equipment, and a transport vehicle for the elderly attached to the department.
For her part, Sindia Abdul Rahman expressed her deep gratitude and thanks to the Sharjah Charitable Society for its generous support to the “Noon” project, as this support shows the level of cooperation already exists between the two sides and confirms the influential community role that the Association has. play to increase the level of services and care provided to members of the department.
She said: We aim to make the “Midday” campaign bear fruit and through it we will address the needs of those who have lost their education and the difficult learners, as some of them cannot register for the next level of education due to accumulation of previous arrears.
She explained that what is different about this initiative is that it is at the heart of the work of the Sharjah Charitable Society, which pays great attention to programs to support science students through the various supports it provides the campaign to give it to needy families directly or through them. community participation and community support.
