Sharjah Charity Society and Air Arabia Strengthen Cooperation for ‘Cloud of Charity’ Project

Sharjah, September 10 / WAM / The Sharjah Charity Society discussed with a delegation from Air Arabia the strengthening of existing cooperation between the two sides within the framework of the implementation of the “Cloud of Charity” project concerned with providing envelopes for passenger seats so that they can place their cash donations that are transferred to the society’s accounts to support development projects. The various procedures that are implemented in Air Arabia stations around the world.

Muhammad Hamdan Al-Zari, Head of the Projects Sector at the Sharjah Charitable Society, accompanied by Khaled Al-Qassab, Director of the Fundraising Department at the Society’s main headquarters in Semnan, received His Excellency Jassim Al-Kooheji, Director General of Government Relations at Emirates-Air Arabia, and his entourage.

Jassim Al-Kahouji, Director General of Government Relations at Air Arabia, stressed their pride in the partnership with the Sharjah Charitable Society, which demonstrated the values ​​of cooperation on land in a way that enhances the charitable efforts made by the Society inside and outside the country, explaining that Air Arabia is keen to strengthen this cooperation, through which it is committed to its societal roles and responsibilities.

He praised the work carried out by the Sharjah Charitable Society and the presence of its work in more than 110 countries around the world and its expansion from time to time, which confirms the value of the humanitarian work of which we are, thanks to this cooperation, a part.

For his part, Mohammed Hamdan Al Zari, Head of the Projects Sector at the Sharjah Charitable Society, praised the existing cooperation between the Society and Air Arabia, which has resulted over two decades in supporting more than 100 charitable projects of the Society at a financial cost amounting to 9.3 million dirhams. He said, “This work “It confirms the extent of the impact of community participation and cooperation between various parties in attracting supporters and donors who wish to make their contributions and charity that would enhance the humanitarian roles that the association carries out locally and abroad.”
