“Sharing Smiles: Autonomous University of Coahuila Collects Toys for Needy Children”

Saltillo, Coah.- The happy face of a child when he receives a toy says it all, because at that moment he forgets the precariousness in which he lives, family problems and the responsibilities that are sometimes imposed on him.

Therefore, the Autonomous University of Coahuila invites the population to participate in the collection “Sharing smiles”to gather as many new toys or in good condition, not warlike, that do not require batteries or attachments and, preferably, that promote the development of girls and boys.

The population can take the toys, unwrapped, to the General Coordination of University Extensionto the ICH, the Faculty of Social Work, and the Infotheques of Campo Redondo and Arteaga, or, deliver them to the Student Societies of Chemical Sciences, Plastic Arts, Systems, Dentistry, Economics, Nursing and the Higher School of Music.

Collection centers will also be installed in the Torreón Unit and North Unitsince the toys will be delivered in several communities of the state as of May 1.

Wolves to the Rescuethe Student Confederation, Student Societies, and the Information Library System, are part of the University committees that will join efforts to bring a little joy to the children of Coahuila.
