There are three of them and they have committed eight robberies and robberies of people and stores in Braga. Nuno, 31, Fernando, 23, and Fernando Pereira, 35, all from Braga and pre-trial detainees, will be tried in the Judicial Court for robbery and theft, in qualified form.
The first theft occurred on July 20, 2019, next to a cash machine in São Frutuoso, on the outskirts of the city.
Nuno and Fernando saw a woman, Ana Catarina, doing operations at the ATM and decided to approach her. Fernando stayed in the car to prepare for the escape, while Nuno approached her from the back, grabbing her around the waist: “get up more!”
The next day – writes the prosecution of the Public Ministry (MP) – the same two defendants went to the Amoreiras mini-market, at Rua Dr. Francisco de Noronha.
The procedure was the same: Fernando stayed in the vehicle and Nuno entered, addressing the owner, Maria de Fátima, who was close to the cash register: “Don’t be afraid. Don’t be alarmed, ”I said, grabbing her by the neck and arm, when Fátima tried to react. Still, she screamed for help and her husband appeared, prompting the assailant to run away, running away.
Victim got naked
That day, at Rua da Fábrica, at night, the two criminals went to a passer-by, Ricardo Ramalho, and threatened him with an open act.
They grabbed him and stole a branded cell phone Iphone, which was worth 700 euros, another mobile phone, valued at 370, 40 euros in cash and a packet of tobacco.
Then, on the same street, they robbed a car carrying documents and other objects, all valued at 80 euros.
At that time, thieves they noticed that the previous victim, Ricardo, was following them from afar. They went after him, slapped him three times, and took him to a public bathroom where they undressed him, leaving him naked.
Shortly after, they got into a taxi from Jolece, Lda, from where they took a tablet, a mobile phone, a portable printer and a ten euro bill. Theft proceeds: 1,520 euros.
On November 21, Nuno approached a woman, Cláudia Macedo, and pulled her wallet out with a stretch. He got 20 euros, and objects that were in a bag.
That night, at 02:50, Fernando and Nuno went to the Hotel Burgos, at Rua D. Afonso Henriques. Fernando went to the receptionist and asked him for money because he needed to call a taxi. It took a care, but took the opportunity to see if there was something easy to steal.
He went back inside, hooded and shouted: “this is a robbery, don’t want any trouble”. He took two cell phones, a purse and ten euros, all worth 600 euros.
“Do you want to die”?
A month later, in December, Nuno entered Cabeleireiro Hasbel, at Rua Fotógrafo Arcelino and shouted, addressing the owner: “this is an assault. All the money already ”.
The victim tried to escape, leaving, but he grabbed her, pulled her inside, put a knife to her neck and asked: “Do you want to die?”. Continued, he stole 500 euros and two mobile phones, thus obtaining 1,800 euros.
The MP accused Nuno Miguel Loureiro of seven crimes of theft and robbery, Fernando Costa of three of robbery and two of theft and Fernando Pereira of a crime of theft.
