AMERSFOORT – Part of the forests north of the Utrecht town of Leersum will be accessible again for walkers and cyclists from Friday. The forests suffered major storm damage on June 18. According to Staatsbosbeheer, thousands of trees were blown down. The situation was so dangerous that the forests have been closed since the storm.
