Shaquille O’Neal y Jade Cargill They emerged victorious in their debut in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) after defeating Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet in a tag team match. The match opened up a new AEW Dynamite program, the last before the company’s pay-per-view, AEW Revolution.
Company fans were eager to see O’Neal’s first fight in wrestling. Both he and Cargill showed great strength in the ring against their rivals with several outstanding actions, such as the Powerbomb de Shaq a Cody o una Spinebuster de Cargill sobre Red Velvet. The fight also had interventions like that of Austin Gunn, who attacked the basketball legend from behind with a chair, making him angry and attack the entire Nightmare Family.
In the last bars of the fight, Cody impaled Shaq from the apron against the tables outside with a crossbody. Faced with the distraction, Velvet took advantage of the victory by attacking Cargill with a Spear. But his rival was smart, he finished off with a Wheelbarrow Facebuster to make the count of three.
Shaquille O’Neal, after being impaled by the table, was carried on a stretcher to the hospital during the advertising break. Tony Schavione was going to interview him after his performance but he left by ambulance and no further news has been known about him and his physical condition.
