Hong Kong famous movie star Oh Meng-Dal died of liver cancer. Age 69.
According to Chinese media such as Hong Kong Seongdo Ilbo on the 28th, Oh Maeng-Dal died while fighting liver cancer at 5:16 pm on the 27th. He was diagnosed with liver cancer last year, and it is said that his condition has recently worsened.
Meng-Dal Oh is a popular actor who won the 1991 Hong Kong Film Awards for Best Actor. His latest film is the Chinese movie’Wandering Earth’, which was released in 2019. He was an actor who received a lot of love because he was able to digest everything from pleasant and friendly characters to delicate emotional acting.

Born in Xiamen, China in 1952, Wu Meng-dal moved to Hong Kong with his family as a child. He started acting on TVB in Hong Kong in 1973 with Joo Yun-bal and Im Dal-hwa. He was known as the’best friend’ of actor and director Joo Seong-chi, and he made his name known to domestic fans. Meng-Dal Oh and Seong-chi Ju gained great popularity by appearing in the movies’Doseong’,’King of the Comics’,’Shaolin Soccer’,’Seo Yugi Moonlight Bohap’, and’Seonri Giyeon Seo’.
In response, Joo Seong-chi mourned, “I prepared my heart while watching Oh Meng-Dal’s illness, but I was still very sad and grieving. I was a combination and friend for a long time. I still can’t accept it.”
