On August 25, the freight rate (sea freight and sea freight surcharges) for exports from Shanghai Port to the basic port market in South America was 2,107 US dollars/TEU, a decrease of 7.8% from the previous period.
For the Japan route, the transportation demand is basically stable, and the market freight rate rises slightly. On August 25, the freight index of the route from China to Japan was 783.26 points.
