Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Aeronautics and Astronautics Second Academic Scholarship Evaluation Method and Result Announcement for 2023 Graduate Students – Notices & Announcements – Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Aeronautics and Astronautics

The second academic scholarship evaluation method and results announcement for the 2023 graduate students of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Aeronautics and Astronautics

1. Selection objects

The selection targets include 2023-level Chinese full-time non-directed master’s students, non-working students targeted by the ethnic minority backbone plan, full-time non-working students under the Xinjiang Aid Plan, and full-time graduate students under the plan to strengthen the military. Other postgraduate students with targeted training or single-entrance examination will not participate in the evaluation of this academic scholarship.

2. Assessment rules

1. Master’s degree scholarships are divided into two levels: first-class scholarship is 1,000 yuan/month; second-class scholarship is 500 yuan/month. Master’s students who do not meet the academic scholarship evaluation conditions of the department cannot receive academic scholarships.

2. Master’s degree scholarships are assessed annually and calculated on a monthly basis (based on 12 months/year). The cumulative award amount is based on the number of valid months in school in that year and will be distributed in one lump sum before the end of the year.

3. Master’s degree scholarships are assessed separately by grade. The number of eligible master’s students in the class of 2023 will be calculated based on the ratio of 30% first-class students and 70% second-class students, and the total amount of academic scholarships will be issued respectively.

4. The total amount of academic scholarships assessed by the department cannot exceed the total amount assigned by the school. At the same time, the academic scholarship standard for a single graduate student must not exceed 60% of the national scholarship standard for master’s students at the same stage.

3. Selection level

The academic scholarship for 2023 master’s students is divided into two levels, the first level is 1,000 yuan per month, and the second level is 500 yuan per month.

1. The college calculates and issues the total amount of first-class and second-class academic scholarships and bursaries based on the ratio of 30% and 70% of the number of master’s students in the class of 2023.

2. The number of first-class scholarships for master’s degree students from Mozambique Airlines and non-Mozhi Airlines will be allocated in proportion to their respective numbers, and sorted from high to low in terms of merit points. Grade points are calculated based on “current GPA grade points”. If the grade points are the same, the principles in Article 7 will apply.

3. Students who fail the assessment will not be awarded academic scholarships. Failure to pass the assessment includes: failing the GPA calculation source course, having an average grade point average of less than 2.7 in the GPA calculation source course, and being punished by school disciplines and regulations, etc.

4. Students participating in the dual master’s degree program at the University of Toronto, if they are admitted to U of T in the first academic year and plan to be sent out, and if the student’s academic performance is excellent, he or she will be evaluated as a first-class scholarship. If you are admitted after the first academic year, you will be evaluated together with other students; if you fail to complete your studies on time, have failing grades, or have violations of laws and regulations at the University of Toronto, no scholarship will be awarded.

5. Students who suspend their studies due to reasons such as supporting teaching, illness, or being sent to study abroad in the first semester by the public, etc., will be assessed as second-class scholarships.

6. If a student is approved to take a leave of absence after registering within the normal study period due to government-sponsored study abroad, teaching support, etc., the academic scholarships and bursaries during the leave of absence will be suspended from the next month on the date of approval; if a student resumes study within the normal study period, Disbursement will be restarted from the month following the date of approval for resumption of study; if the period of study has exceeded the normal period of study when the resumption of study is applied for, the disbursement will not be restarted.

7. If students have the same grade points, bonus points will be calculated according to the following principles:
