The Emirati artist, Shamma Hamdan, released 10 songs, filmed in a video clip, at once, with her first lyrical album in her artistic career, which was titled “You Fear Me”.
Shamma Hamdan expressed her happiness with the issuance of the first lyrical album with this image, which she described as “it carries a lot of risk, since I released a photo album for all the songs with the latest ideas in terms of appearance and all its details closest to the Western style, as the director Bassam Al-Turk excelled in directing it, and the creative Samir Karam, the director of photography in photographing it.” She said, “Composer Yasser Bu Ali is the one who came up with the idea of filming the 10 songs in a video clip, and insisting on this opinion. He told me that you are capable of presenting them in an elegant, different and distinctive way.”
Hamdan collaborated with composer Yasser Bu Ali on five songs composed by him, which are: “You fear me, your footsteps carry me, how you are, and you don’t care, and a song that does not justify.” A song composed by Tariq Bakhsh is “I breathe,” while Shamma composed four songs: “Like Others, At Bedtime, I Killed Feelings, and A Song And Hana.”
