NASA has announced a shocking discovery that the Perseverance rover recently stumbled upon on Mars. This time it is not a beautiful rock formation or a specific biological sample. Unfortunately, that’s much worse.

The garbage has already appeared on Mars
In images provided to the space agency by a planetary rover, scientists noticed what appears to be a piece of aluminum foil stuck between the rocks. This sight surprised even the most experienced researchers.

Scientists are trying to find out where human garbage came from on the Red Planet. According to one hypothesis, it may be a piece of a thermal blanket that was attached to a special rocket backpack used during the landing of the rover on Mars.

This version, however, leaves many doubts. The Perseverance landing took place 2 km from the place where the foil was found. “Did this piece land here later or was it brought here by the wind?” – NASA specialists are wondering in the post shared on Facebook.
