FORNEBU (Dagbladet): At the same time as the Norwegian people are enjoying a reopened Norway, it was time for Saturday night another round on the dance floor for the “Shall we dance” participants.
The theme for the evening was “the moment”, and the celebrities, together with their professional dancers, were to dance to stories from their own lives. It offered a lot of emotion.
The first person on the stage was Simon Nitsche and his dance partner Helene Spilling. They danced jive to the song “Rebel Yell” by Billy Idol, dedicated to Nitsche’s own father.
Simon has been high on the points lists from the first program, and also delivered this Saturday night.
His father, Thorsten Nitsche, has lived a musical life, and it is one red guitar in particular that has gained great sentimental value for Simon. Through the jive, he wanted tonight to pay tribute to his father’s musicality.
– Incredibly tough and cool. Very fun, says Simon after the dance.
– For a start on a day like this, where we are all happy and will finally live life again. Absolutely cool !, says judge Trine Dehli Cleve after the dance.
Trine Dehli Cleve also followed up the compliments, when she was to give points.
– Approaching the perfect, she says.
Simon and Helene got a total score of 28, including one ten.

Danced to tears
Number two on the floor is Royane Harkati and dance partner Ole Thomas Hansen. Royane danced for her children, and ended the dance choked with tears.
– Absolutely fantastic, says a touched Morten Hegseth after the dance.
– This was dance in real life, as it should be. Absolutely fantastic !, Merete Lingjærde follows up.
Royane and Ole got, like Simon and Helene, 28 points.
Danced for the buddy
The third person to dance tonight was Dennis Vareide, who last week was in danger of breaking out. He has received harsh criticism in previous weeks for his dancing, but this week the judging panel believes that Vareide has risen.
This week he danced for his friend Preben “Prebz” Stokkan, with whom he shared the YouTube channel “Prebz and Dennis” for several years. Some time ago, however, Dennis decided to end the collaboration, but does not hide that his friend still means a lot.
– You have developed !, says Merete Lingjærde after the dance.
Tonight, Vinni and Rikke danced a modern dance to the song “Balcony”, and the story he conveyed was when he realized that he did not understand what love is.
The moment he is aiming for is when he and his ex-wife went their separate ways, and started going into couples therapy.
Vinni himself describes the moment as something that “changed everything”.
– This can go a long way !, Morten Hegseth states after the dance.
– This was real, this was you, Vinni, says Lingjærde.
Tonight, Vinni harvested his first ten, and ended up with a score of 26.

Back to the boating accident
Number five on the floor in tonight’s broadcast was Alejandro Fuentes. He danced samba, and the story he reminisces about is when, as a 19-year-old, he crashed his brand new million boat.
The incident made headlines across the country, and is an incident Alejandro is not proud of today.
– Satan, for a “groove”, said Morten Hegseth after the dance.
Fuentes was nevertheless criticized for not radiating much energy, and for not delivering a party, as the samba often does. The judges’ feedback was admittedly met with buing from the audience, but it did not affect the points.
Fuentes ended up with 19 points from the judges this Saturday night.
Last week, Maren Lundby danced on three eights from the judges. When she tonight danced a slowfox to Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey’s “Believe”, she also impressed the judges.
– The technique and the footwork you delivered today, it was very, very good, says Trine Dehli Cleve after the dance.
Lundby received 23 points from the judges.
– Best you’ve done
Anniken Jørgensen struggled a lot with her mental health as a young person, and tonight she tells how life changed after she got to see how children and young people in developing countries lived, through the program «Sweatshop».
–
With a new perspective on life, it became harder to feel sorry for herself, and tonight she danced a modern dance to “Ugly on the back” – dedicated to just that experience.
– Much more sensitive and emotional than I thought, Anniken says after the dance.
When asked why, she answers the following:
– I feel that song so much, and even though it’s been many years since I was in Sweatshop, those people are in my memory.
–
The judges were powerfully impressed by the dance and the communication of the emotions. Morten Hegseth went so far as to say that she is “shitty”. Anniken and Santino received a total of 24 points from the judges.
Tribute to the parents
Magnus Moan remembers when he jumped on skis for the first time. On Saturday, he danced quickstep to the Imagine Dragons song “On Top of The World”, as a tribute to his parents who took him skiing as a child.
Together with dance partner Ewa Trela, he danced to applause throughout the song, and sang easily along the way.
– It is so raw to dance on that floor here, he says after the dance, and praises the audience’s commitment.
The judges were clearly impressed with the dance, which was a contrast to the tears that were dried earlier in the evening.
Magnus Moan danced on 26 points this Saturday night.
Back to the orphanage
The system man out this Saturday was Siri Alvesen-Østli. As a 10-year-old, she went to Sri Lanka to visit the orphanage she herself was adopted from. This Saturday, she has dedicated a modern dance, with the song “Not like the others” by Sondre Justad, to just those memories.
Together with dance partner Tarjei Svalastog, she served lifts and intimate hugs, to standing ovations and cheers from the audience.
– Very emotional story, concludes judge Trine Dehli Cleve, and adds:
– I see you dancing your way into this dance.
– Touchingly beautiful, Merethe Lingjærde describes it as.
With two tens from the judges and one nine, she received a total of 29 points from the judges. Thus, she leads tonight’s referee points.
