Shakira is a few days away from releasing her long-awaited album “Las mujeres ya no Lloran”, and although she has given some previews, a couple of photos she shared have unleashed the madness of her followers, who speculate everything with the images in which the 47-year-old interpreter appears.
The release of the material will be on March 22 with a vinyl edition, the first of his career.
“I have not created it alone but with all of you, and with my pack of wolves who have been there accompanying me every step,” the singer-songwriter wrote on social networks with a photo in which diamonds can be seen rolling down her face in the shape of tears.
“The production of this work has been an alchemical process. When writing each song, I rebuilt myself. When I sang them, my tears transformed into diamonds and my vulnerability into resilience,” she added.
“Women Don’t Cry” is the artist’s 12th studio album, and her record label Sony Music describes it as “a dazzling testimony to Shakira’s resilience and strength, as well as the power of music to transform the most difficult experiences.” difficult moments in valuable moments.
The new album includes seven hits that have already been released, such as “Music Sessions Vol. 53” with Bizarrap and “TQG” with Karol G, which both debuted at number one on the global Spotify Top 50 chart.
“Music Sessions Vol. 53” is the most streamed Spanish-language song in a single day in Spotify history and won Song of the Year and Best Pop Song at last year’s Latin Grammy Awards. The song broke 12 records, registered by the Guinness organization.
“Women don’t cry” will include songs such as “I congratulate you” with Rauw Alejandro, “Copa vaca” with Manuel Turizo and “Acróstico”, with Milan and Sasha Piqué, the artist’s children. Eight new songs and a remix complete the album.
The album will come out with four different artwork editions; each accompanied by an exclusive colored vinyl variant. It will come in red, sapphire, emerald and diamond. The latter color will be available in general stores, while the sale of the previous ones is limited to specific websites and locations.
Shakira shared a couple of photographs, after announcing the release of her new album, they are two images in which the singer is getting ready for what is to come: “Working hard. Getting ready for the release of the album!”, reads the description of the photos, which are giving something to talk about because of the elements that are in them and that the Colombian’s fans did not lose sight of.
In the first photo she appears accompanied by two dancers, she is in the center dancing with a pink suit of armor lying next to her feet.
