The singer’s father was seriously injured in an accident. He had to be cared for in intensive care.
“I then found out through the press that I had been cheated. While my father was in intensive care,” Shakira recalls.
“I lost the man I loved most, my father, when I needed him the most. I couldn’t talk to him and ask my best friend for advice that I needed so much.”
The singer and the former FC Barcelona player broke up last year after a relationship of twelve years because Piqué would have cheated. The two have two children together, sons Milan and Sasha.
