Shakira decided to leave Barcelona with her two children. The decision was reportedly taken after receiving an email from Gerard Pique’s father.
Through her Instagram account, Shakira recently announced her decision to move from Barcelona with her children, Milan and Sasha. The singer of hits Whenever Wherever admits that she wants to find new happiness with her children in Miami.
“I previously settled in Barcelona to provide stability to my children, the same thing that we are currently looking for in other corners of the world beside family, friends and sea. Today we start a new chapter in our pursuit of happiness. Thanks to everyone who surfed with me on the waves in Barcelona, where I learned friendship is more lasting than love,” said Shakira.

Reported by El Periodico and La Vanguardia, quoted from Aceshowbiz, Shakira asked to leave his residence in Esplugues de Llobregat before the end of April. The residence is where he lived with his two children after separating from Gerard Pique.
Sources said the order came from an email signed by Joan Pique, father of Gerard Pique, who is considered the sole director of the company Kerad Holding. In the email, Shakira was asked to leave her residence or have to pay compensation.
But regarding this news, both parties Shakira nor Gerard Pique have yet to speak.
Shakira and Gerard Pique split after 12 years together due to an affair. After that, the footballer was openly dating his 23-year-old lover, Clara Chia.
