As previously reported, the 20-year-old Croatian midfielder Martin Baturina is one of Shakhtar’s main transfer targets during the winter intermission.
The Pitmen showed interest in the Dinamo Zagreb attacking midfielder a year ago, but the Croats then valued their talent at 20-25 million euros. This season, unlike the previous one, is not going very well for Baturina, so it is obvious that the player’s transfer price may be less.
According to Sport.ua, Shakhtar is ready to offer 12 million euros for Baturina. Dynamo Zagreb, in addition, wants another 20-30 percent from the further resale of the player, which does not suit the Ukrainian club.
Let us note that Napoli and Milan were previously interested in Baturina, but now there is no talk of moving to Serie A.
Let us remind you that Shakhtar signed two Brazilians in the winter – Marlon Gomez (12 million euros) and Kevin (12 million euros).
