23-year-old Shakhtar center back Vitao, who after the start of the full-scale phase of the Russian-Ukrainian war went to Brazil and has since played for Internacional according to FIFA Annexe 7, is going to return to European football this summer.
According to journalist Wagner Martins, Vitao will leave Internacional in the summer of 2024 and move to the Spanish Valladolid, a club owned by the legendary compatriot of the defender Ronaldo and which currently plays in La Liga 2 (Segunda).
It is known that Vitao’s contract with Shakhtar runs until June 30 of this year. The same day is the last for the defender’s temporary contract with Internacional, due to which the footballer will be able to move to Valladolid as a free agent.
Vitao had previously been linked with a possible move to Betis.
