Shailaja Balan transfers the amount to the bank
Thrissur: A housewife re-invested money in Karuvannoor Co-operative Bank even as there were allegations that investors were not getting their money due to crores of loan fraud and black money transactions. Shailaja Balan, a resident of Kotai, Thaliakonam, went to the bank and made a fixed deposit of Rs. Shailaja went to the Karuvannur bank and made the deposit when there were complaints of not getting back the investment and allegations that she died without getting money for treatment despite the investment of lakhs.
Shailaja’s answer to the question of the reason why he invested in the bank despite hearing allegations and complaints from journalists who came to know the information was that it was trustworthiness towards the bank.
He came to Karuvannur after getting married 30 years ago. Since then, he has been a shareholder in Karuvannur Bank and has been doing business regularly. Shailaja also stated that she still receives interest on her investments. Shailaja Balan is also the Chairperson of Iringalakuda Municipal CDS. Shailaja told the media that she is not a party worker, she has politics like everyone else and has leftist sympathies, and no one has told her that this is personal and is just a continuation of an earlier transaction.
Chairman of the administrative committee of the bank P.K. Chandrasekhan and members accepted Shailaja’s deposit and gave the receipt. It turns out that the propaganda going on against Karuvannur Bank is false. The Bank Administrative Committee has alleged that the propaganda about depositors not getting their money back is contrived. This will only serve to further unnerve investors and disrupt bank operations.
Timely funds are available to investors for all wedding and medical purposes. This is allowed on the basis of importance. The bank is returning to normalcy after more than two years of crisis. Bank officials said that property loans and gold mortgage loans are now being provided by the bank.
