Who would have thought that Shah Rukh Khan had become a columnist for a media in India. In his writings, he describes his life experiences that are completely unknown to the public. One of them was when he did acupuncture to relieve pain in his neck.
In that column, the actor wrote that it was mentioned that he would experience paralysis if the problem in his neck was not operated on immediately. Instead of choosing medical procedures, he turned to alternative medicine. That’s because some of his close relatives scared him about what could happen if the operation failed.
“They mentioned what would happen if that failed. They said I could be paralyzed or unable to speak anymore,” he wrote.
The choice fell on acupuncture treatment after making the selection for up to one year. He said the man who treated him was one of the best in the world for the matter.
When starting the treatment procedure, Shah Rukh Khan, who was worried at the thought of acupuncture needles being stuck in his neck, made him even more panicked.
“The thought of him sticking a needle into my neck is scary. But so I don’t worry about that because he didn’t stick a needle there, but he wanted to stick it in my private part to treat my neck! Can you imagine how painful it was, my whole body was shaking, “said Shahrukh Khan.
The 57-year-old man also said that the person treating him was not from India and he did not understand what he was saying. He also only remembers one order from the man, namely ordering him to take off his clothes. As a result, he was naked on the bed throughout the treatment was in progress.
“The rest (of the story) is too vulgar for me to describe. It was the most embarrassing and painful moment of my life,” he wrote.
Then did the pain in his neck go away after the acupuncture therapy? The fact is that he recovered from pain in his neck, but the pain only moved to his thighs and intimate organs.
