Sonic will return in December with another adventure, the first fragments of which were presented in a spectacular trailer. The material also confirmed the rumors that had been circulating for many months – the role of the antagonist of the show will be played by Keanu Reeves.
According to information disclosed last year, the star known for his appearance in the films Matrix and John Wick will play the role of Shadow – a dark hedgehog who is the opposite of the good-natured Sonic. – He’s much more impressive than the hedgehog I fought earlier – Knuckles says in the trailer, after seeing Shadow in action.
Idris Elba returns as Knuckles, meaning Sonic 3 can boast a cast worthy of Cyberpunk 2077: The Phantom of Liberty. Interestingly, Dr. Robotnik also appears in the material to clearly deny the rumors of his death. The mustachioed antagonist will of course be played by Jim Carrey.
Sonic 3 will hit theaters on December 20although it is not yet known whether the same date also applies to screenings in Poland. The director of the “third” is once again Jeff Fowler, responsible for the last two installments. The rest of the cast remains the same: Sonic will speak with the voice of Ben Schwartz, and Colleen O’Shaughnessey will play Tails.
