Mr. Supachai Weeraborwornpong, Managing Director of Siam Gas and Petrochemicals Company (SGP), revealed that according to the company Debentures No. 2/2018 were issued and offered for sale with a term of 5 years, a credit limit of 2,000 million baht, due for redemption on December 7, 2023. The Company has already repaid the principal and interest of the said debentures.

In addition, the company is ready to offer 2 new sets of bonds to general investors. and institutional investors (Public Offering) with the interest rates for both sets of bonds as follows: Set 1 of bonds with a term of 2 years 9 months, interest rate 4.95% per year, and Set 2 of bonds with a term of 4 years 2 months, interest rate of 5.15% per year.

The company plans to pay interest every 3 months throughout the life of the bonds. Offered for sale between 14-15 and 18 Dec. 2023 through 5 leading financial institutions, including Krung Thai Bank. ,CIMB Thai Bank, UOB Bank, Asia Plus Securities Company and Yuanta Securities Company (Thailand) for the purpose of issuing this bond. The money received will be used to replace the company’s money. which has reserved for repayment of bonds due in December 2023 and repay the bonds due in January 2024.

The new debentures are rated “investment grade” at “BBB+,” similar to the company’s credit rating. and has a trend of a “negative” credit rating from TRIS Rating on November 16, 2023. TRIS Rating stated that the said credit rating reflects the Company’s extensive distribution network. and the Company’s market position as the second largest liquefied petroleum gas trader or LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) in Thailand.

Mr. Supachai Weeraborwornpong added that In terms of operating results for the 9-month period ending September 30, 2023, the Company and its subsidiaries had income from sales, transportation, and services in the amount of 68,037.73 million baht, decreasing from the same period of the year. 2022 because the average world market LPG price for 9 months of 2023 is equal to 563.89 USD/ton. Lower than the same period last year when the average LPG price was 776.94 USD/ton. However, the company still had a gross profit for the nine-month period of 1,936.30 million baht, which increased from the same period of 2022. This is the result of managing the cost of products available for sale. The average cost is lower than the world market LPG gas price that is announced as referring to the selling price. As a result, the company’s net profit for the nine-month period of 2023 is 259.67 million baht.
