Reinfeld – While most kickers from the region were able to put their feet up on yesterday’s holiday, things went wrong in the South-East District League again for points. The SG Reinfeld/Kronsforde had the second representation yesterday evening Pönitz to guest. In a hard-fought 5:3, the home side were ahead in the end and secured the three points thanks to a hat trick from Marcel Möller.

Christopher Will (SG): “Deserved home win against well-playing boys from Pönitz. We got into the game well and quickly took a 2-0 lead. Shortly before the half-time whistle, we rightly got a penalty against us. In the second half we quickly took the lead again with 3-1. As is sometimes the case in football, we concede two goals within 5 minutes to equalize. Something like that simply can’t happen to us. But we don’t let our heads down and fight our way back to the deserved success with two goals. Now it’s time to tweak a few things again during training on Thursday in order to be as prepared as possible when traveling to Pansdorf on Saturday. We wish Pönitz much success for the next games.”
Steven Tion (Pönitz): “A defeat that was unnecessary, even if Reinfeld was better in terms of football, which was also due to the loans from the top league team. Nevertheless, something was possible for us. We fight our way back to a 3-3 draw but then concede two unnecessary goals again. Got a clear goal whistled for supposedly offside. What’s doubly annoying is that Reinfeld’s 0-1 result comes from a more than clear offside position. Unfortunately, we’re still missing some important players at the moment, so we have to regroup every week and it’s hardly possible to play. Complaining doesn’t help, from now on we’re looking towards the weekend, when hopefully one or the other will be fit again.
