Witten, Ueckermünde. The SG Nienburg-Rehburg took part in the Germany Cup and the German Championships in gymnastics and dance. The 18-plus group Infinity from SG (MTV Nienburg and TV Jahn Rehburg) was at the DTB Dance Germany Cup in Witten near Bochum. With their dance on the theme of “cleaning crew” they reached the final of the best eight after an exciting intermediate round and were able to fight for sixth place in the end.

A strong performance after they had already reached sixth place last year and were now able to maintain their performance with a larger line-up. The SG athletes look back on this emotional weekend with both laughter and tears, as they also had to say goodbye to three long-time dancers.

The BeCharmed group went to the German Gymnastics and Dance Championships in Ueckermünde. Despite short-term failures, they showed a confident performance and were rewarded with a place in the dance final. There they increased their performance again and finished seventh. They narrowly missed the gymnastics final by 0.2 points. They achieved ninth place in the all-around competition. All qualified groups from Lower Saxony had a successful weekend.
