The facts already happened in Istanbul last Sunday. According to eyewitnesses, the victim would not have immediately given way to Sezer Oztürk’s car.
The case eventually escalated to such an extent that Oztürk opened fire on a group from his car. 1 person died, 4 people were injured and are still in hospital.
Oztürk immediately fled in his car, but after more than a week he is still missing. The police have issued an arrest warrant.
Born in Germany, now 36-year-old Oztürk has long been known as one of Turkey’s greatest talents. He made his debut for Leverkusen when he was 19 and ended up on loan at Beerschot not much later. The big breakthrough, however, failed to materialize. He had his best period at Fenerbahçe, with which he won the cup twice.
