The disasters started on Sunday, when 24-year-old Rammstein fan Shelby Lynn post a picture by himself with a gigantic blue mark on his body.
She said that at the weekend she had been to the nachspiel in Vilnius, after a concert that the band held in the Lithuanian capital. The Irish girl had only had a couple of drinks and a tequila shot from Lindemann before she lost consciousness.
She reckons there were knock-out drops in the drink.
Unconscious
Shelby Lynn assumes that the bruise must be the result of her being subjected to violence while she was in an unconscious state. But – as she emphasizes – she does not KNOW what happened.
Rammstein’s management rushed out with a message that the allegations were not true, and that no police authority in Vilnius had started any investigation into anything to do with the band.

Her story – with a picture of the blue badge – quickly took off online. Shelby Lynn suddenly found herself in the shitstorm of the ages, where she was accused of making gross allegations against Till Lindemann to attract attention.
In the end, the pressure became so intense that the young woman had to emphasize in a new posting that she has never actually accused Lindemann of rape.
Several cases
In the meantime, Till Lindemann was closely followed by a team of reporters from a TV channel in collaboration with the newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung. And it wasn’t trifles that the journalists got home during a short working week.
So far, they have managed to identify five young women who all tell of similar experiences to the one Shelby Lynn was exposed to.
Some of them emphasize that they were not victims of direct rape, others that they were drugged to the point that they were unable to reject the rock singer.

Has since 1996 lived permanently in Berlin where he has worked for various Scandinavian media. All the cases are said to have happened in connection with after-parties, where very young women from the audience were picked out and asked if they were interested. A couple of them have explained that they were made aware in advance that it was all about sleeping with Till Lindemann.
Alcohol and illegal substances flowed at the parties.
The porn movie
If it wasn’t bad enough with the obviously large number of women who – in one way or another – have been sexually abused by Till Lindemann, a three-year-old video suddenly appeared. It was produced at the time by Lindemann, who himself plays the lead role.
The content is described as pornographic to the extent that the video was rejected on YouTube. Lindemann then chose to distribute the clip on a pure porn channel. The footage will show him in various – highly degrading – positions with various women.

The reaction came on Friday, in the form of a resignation from one of the country’s largest book publishers – who no longer wish to publish Till Lindemann’s writings. The publishing manager spoke of a breach of trust on the part of the artist, and sent all good thoughts to the women who have allegedly been abused by him.
Neither Lindemann nor anyone from the band has so far spoken publicly about the explosive case, which is certainly not over yet.
Til Schweiger
For the Rammstein singer, the revelations come at the worst possible time. A few weeks ago, the filmmaker Til Schweiger (60) was thoroughly hanged to dry, because he regularly appears drunk on the set, scolds everything and everyone and/or physically attacks employees.
As more and more actors came forward with unpleasant stories about Schweiger’s tone of voice, the heads of the film companies had to admit that they had only recently heard of such difficulties. And THEN the most immediate question appeared: Why had they closed their eyes and let Til Schweiger continue to tumble as if nothing had happened – without anyone intervening?
Those responsible for the rowdy way of directing film shoots are constantly being hunted, while more and more evidence is brought together for the allegations of Til Schweiger’s abuse. So the mood on the top floor of the German entertainment industry was already gloomy when the case of Till Lindemann emerged.
Inconvenient themes
Rammstein consists of East German guys who knew each other even before the fall of the Wall. They built up Rammstein, often with lyrics from front singer Till Lindemann. The music is characterized by some as “dance metal”.
The band is known for grand stage shows and extensive use of pyrotechnics. The band has a large following in both Norway and Germany – and probably just as many who loathe the music and what the members stand for.

They have often been suspected of being very far out on the extreme right. A critic has said of Till Lindemann’s lyrics that they are often about uncomfortable and provocative themes of the kind that have a “provocative-fascist undertone” and that the lyricist likes to deal with themes that “are not often talked about in public”.
Politi?
Until now, Till Schweiger has chosen to shy away from the public, keep his mouth shut – and hope that the waves will subside without him having to comment on the violent accusations.
The big question now is whether Till Lindemann intends to try something similar – under the motto that his good name and reputation have nevertheless been put well and thoroughly out of control.
The case will only become really interesting if some of the victims were to go to the police and tell about cow drops at a party at Till Lindemann’s. THEN the man has a little more than an image problem on his neck.
