Different families, sexual violence, and also puberty, the sexes or intimate hygiene: aimed at 8-11 year olds, the animated series “Sexotrucs” gently addresses these highly sensitive themes on Lumni, the France Télévisions educational platform.
Twenty episodes have been online since this week, accessible free of charge depending on school level.
They can help the youngest “to know themselves, to discover their changing body, to interact with others” and even “to find their place in society”, argues France Télévisions, in line with government guidelines on the subject.

The production company, “Tournez s’il vous plait”, has surrounded itself with a committee of experts. She is considering such a series for 4-7 year olds even if “there are obstacles” on this subject of sexuality and “financing is difficult”, according to Agnès Molia, co-producer.
Lumni already offers a sex education web series for 11-17 year olds, “Sexotuto”.
