The Sparkasse Freiburg-Nördlicher Breisgau supports the purchase of the new helper-on-site (HVO) vehicle with a donation of 1,500.00 euros to the DRK local association in Sexau. For this we, the DRK local association Sexau, would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you again!!
On May 4th, the 1st board of the DRK local association in Sexau, Ferdinand Berger and the treasurer Helga Reinbold met with Martin Schillinger, head of the Sexau office, and Peter Kleiner, head of the finance center of the Sparkasse in Waldkirch, to hand over the donation.
HVO refers to volunteers who are always deployed when first aid has to be provided particularly quickly and the rescue service cannot be on site or cannot be there quickly enough.
The volunteers on site (HVO) take care of the patient until the rescue service arrives. They carry out life-sustaining emergency measures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation and look after the patients. The on-site helper has complete emergency equipment and the new vehicle at his disposal.
