“Sex Offender Targets DoorDash Driver in Florida: Family Rescues Victim in Dramatic Turn of Events”

One person driver online women are targeted by a sex offender. His family managed to save him in a dramatic way.

The unnamed online driver works for the DoorDash delivery app. He was delivering goods to the Residence Inn apartment in Tampa, Florida, one evening in mid-April.

It was there that a gunman named Joseph Kilins forced him back into the car and told him to go to another location, several kilometers from the apartment. It was there that the criminal abused the victim.


As quoted detikINET from CNN, the victim was wearing an Airpods and was talking on the phone with a friend when Joseph threatened her. The friend suspected the victim was assaulted.

Later, his family managed to trace the location of the victim through his cell phone. His family then headed to the crime scene and tried to save him.

“The victim’s family, who traced his phone, came and rescued him from the car. Joseph responded by shooting several times,” police said.

One of the shots hit a family member, a woman in her 20s. After shooting several times, Killins fled. The two victims were later treated in hospital with non-severe injuries.

The next day, Joseph again attacked a woman and stole her bag. The police investigating this case managed to find out the location of the suspect and arrested him.

“We are appalled by this heinous and disgusting crime. No one should have to endure something as horrific as this and we are here to support Dasher in any way we can. We thank the Tampa police for their work and we sincerely hope justice is served ,” said a DoorDash spokesperson in response to the case.
