The countdown has already begun. The filming of ‘And Just Like That …’ (‘And as if nothing …’), the sequel to ‘Sex in New York’, has kicked off and we found out from the photo shared by Sarah Jessica Parker with her companions Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbs and Charlotte York together again for the HBO series Max that will narrate their journey from their boisterous 30s to their life and friendship already 50 years old, and always the city of skyscrapers as a backdrop.
The group photo more than a decade later is almost perfect if not because it is missing Kim Cattrall, that gave life to the liberal, independent and all-powerful Samantha Jones, and who left the project after her disagreements with the executive producers of the series (among which are Parker, Nixon and Davis herself).
Overcome the initial disappointment due to the absence of the fourth protagonist, fans have applauded this reunion about which Parker already explained a few months ago: “We will explore what happens in the life of a woman when she reaches fifty”.
“Together again”, has written Parker next to the group photo, with the ‘skyline’ of Manhattan in the background. “We have already read our first episodes, along with all our colleagues and the new members of the cast,” continues the 56-year-old actress.

Indeed, we will not see Cattrall again but we will see other well-known actors and actresses, such as Chris Noth, David Eigenberg Y Evan Handler (Mr Big, Steve Brady and Harry Goldenblatt) as the protagonists’ husbands. In addition, the signing of the Mexican actress has been confirmed Sara Ramirez (Dr. Callie Torres from ‘Grey’s Anatomy’), who will play ‘Che’ Díaz, a comedian who presents a podcast on equality and feminism where Carrie Bradshaw regularly collaborates and who with her participation becomes the first non-binary character of the history of the ‘show’.
Ramírez is an activist and campaigns for LGTBI + rights, after she made it public in 2016 that she is bisexual.
