The announced departures of several actors from the series had already hinted for some time that the days of Sex Education were counted and it’s now official: the series Netflix will stop at the end of its fourth seasonwhich lands in september on the streaming platform.
Sex Education follows the adventures of Otis Milburn, a young high school student who plays sexologist in his spare time, and his comrades. In Season 4, Otis, Eric and company arrive at a new school following the closure of Moordale High School.
If Otis is nervous about finding new clients for his sex therapist business, Eric worries that they will once again be seen as losers. But Cavendish is a culture shock for all the students at Moordale: they thought they were progressive, but this school is on a whole different level. Yoga is practiced daily in the communal garden, there is an emphasis on sustainability, and there is even a group of students who are popular for being kind.
Viv is upset that this school is non-competitive and seems to be student-driven, while Jackson struggles to recover from her relationship with Cal. Aimee takes up art and Adam wonders if the mainstream education system is for him. Finally, in the United States, Maeve is living her dream at the prestigious Wallace University where she follows the courses of the cult author Thomas Molloy. Otis longs for her, while adjusting to no longer being an only child at home, or the only therapist on campus…
