Two women accused actor Chris Noth, who plays the character of Mr. Big, in the popular series Sex and the City, of commit a sexual assault.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the complainants, who used the pseudonyms Zoe (40 years old) and Lily (31), went to this specialized entertainment outlet separately and months apart to publicly denounce the 67-year-old actor.
Both cases of sexual abuse happened in Los Angeles, in 2004 and 2015. The women decided to make the issue public, after the return of the series to the HBO Max platform.
“Seeing that she was reprising her role in Sex and the City kind of woke me up,” said Zoe. “For so many years, I buried him.” He added that he decided it was time to “try to make public who he is,” the publication referenced.
Noth has denied the claims, calling them “categorically false.” He said, according to The Hollywood Reporter, that “these stories could have been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago – it does not always mean no – that it’s a line that i didn’t cross. The meetings were consensual ”.

Noth’s character surprisingly died at the And Just Like That series premiere, after suffering a heart attack while riding a bicycle.
Following the complaints, the exercise bike manufacturer Pelotón removed the commercial from its Twitter and Instagram. The ad was also removed from his YouTube channel.
Actor Ryan Reynolds, whose marketing company Maximum Effort produced the ad, also removed it from his Twitter account.
“Every allegation of sexual assault must be taken seriously,” a Peloton spokesperson told THR on Thursday. “We were not aware of these allegations when we featured Chris Noth in our response to the HBO reboot. As we look for more information, we stopped promoting this video and archiving related social posts. “
