With the total closure of some vehicular access roads to the historic center of Seville, Spain, parishioners and tourists are getting ready to experience the religious events of Holy Week.
According to the meteorological system, Seville would be experiencing its Semana Mayor, with a high probability of rain up to 80%. According to historical data, the Andalusian city is par excellence the only province in Spain where its inhabitants take to the streets to live and commemorate the passion of Christ.
The Seville City Council, together with members of the Catholic parish, has been working logistically for four weeks to install chairs, signs, indicators alluding to Holy Week, in addition to improving some streets with an asphalt system and resurfacing, all so that on Sunday de Ramos, the activities are carried out with complete tranquility.
