Good news that arrives this Friday for the city. The Government of Spain has announced that Sevilla It is one of the cities in the country that go to phase 1 of the de-escalation, which confirms the steps that are still being taken in the fight against the coronavirus. Granada and Malaga they are the Andalusian provinces that will continue in the first phase.
The Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, announced this Friday the provinces that will advance this Monday, May 11 to phase 1 of the de-escalation of the coronavirus. The Autonomous Communities had to prove that they can guarantee the availability of 1.5 to 2 ICU beds and 37 to 40 acute patient beds per 10,000 inhabitants in five days to be able to make the jump from May 11. In addition, Fernando Simón explained that there are also other conditions -not mandatory- but that should be presented and expressed as the total number of cases confirmed by PCR, or the actual contagion in the area, cases in the last seven days or cases suspects identified in Primary Care.
The islands of Formentera (Balearic Islands), El Hierro, La Graciosa and La Gomera (Canary Islands) were the only ones that have already been in this phase since last Monday. Now Andalusia takes a new step.
Seville, among the provinces that go to phase 1 in Andalusia
Positive outlook for Huelva, Seville, Cádiz, Jaén, Córdoba and Almería. Granada and Malaga, meanwhile, will have difficulties to reach phase 1 to present more than 10 infections per 10,000 inhabitants. However, the Junta de Andalucía wants to make a proposal for sanitary areas and not for provinces and Juanma Moreno has announced that he has requested progress for all provinces.
All indicators reflect that #Andalusia It is moving on the right path and that supports us to ask for the reopening of the most important economic sectors. But we can’t relax. We have to maintain social distance and comply with personal hygiene measures. pic.twitter.com/DWhemHRBOy
