Sevilla vs Arsenal: Champions League Match Preview and Group B Standings

Sevilla and Arsenal will play today (3:00 p.m.) in an a priori attractive match on the third date of group B of the Champions League, at the Sánchez Pizjuán stadium, because both are obliged to achieve victory.

The home team will go for its first win so far in Europe’s most important club competition after having drawn against Lens (1-1 at home) and PSV (2-2 away) in their previous appearances.

The Gunner team had a spectacular start after beating the Dutch club 4-0, but lost 2-1 against all odds on their visit to the French.

That caused positions in the area to be “tightened.” Lens looks down on everyone with four units. Arsenal is second and has three points. Sevilla (2) and PSV (1) complete the “ladder”.

It must be remembered that, in the other duel of the series, the French club will play at home from 3:00 p.m. against the team from the Netherlands.

If they win, Lens will make seven points and maintain the first place in group B.

If he respects his house, Sevilla will have five units and, at a minimum, will go up to the second box.

On November 8, these same games will return, but the locations will be reversed.
