Sevilla have qualified for the Europa League final for the seventh time in history after burying Juventus’ ambition to triumph in Europe this season.

WHAT HAPPENED? Juventus had to end their hopes of winning the only remaining trophy in their 2022/23 season campaign after losing 2-1 in the Europa League semi-final second leg duel at Sevilla headquarters, Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, Friday (19/5) early WIB day.
CAMPANYE NIRGELAR: After a goalless first half, the Bianconeri broke the deadlock thanks to a goal from substitute Dusan Vlahovic in the 65th minute. But the hosts replied in the 71st minute through Suso’s beautiful goal which forced the match to go into extra time. In extra time, Erik Lamela’s header in the 95th minute put Sevilla ahead. Despite being down to 10 men when Marcos Acuna was sent off in the 115th minute, Sevilla kept their lead and progressed to the seventh Europa League final in their history with a 3-2 aggregate victory. Meanwhile for Juventus, this is another season they have to close without a title.
