It has been in the air for a while, but Jules Koundé seems to be leaving Sevilla after this season. The talented defender is being watched by Europe’s top and he is seriously considering the next step.
Koundé is part of the national selection of France in the run-up to the European Championship. At a press conference, he indicated that he expects to make a transfer this summer. “With a view to the future: it should be clear that I will probably take a step this summer. However, nothing is certain yet, I have not decided anything yet.”
He does not yet dare to say which club Koundé will play for next season. “My goal is to play for a big club. I want to get better, win trophies. I might have to move for that, yes. But that’s not the most important now,” the Sevilla defender refers to the European Championship.
Koundé is rumored to be linked to Real Madrid, Manchester United and a number of other Premier League clubs.
