Sevilla have to admit excellence Bayern Munich in the European Super Cup. However, the Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui proud of his team’s struggle.

Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui is proud of his team’s struggles. Being able to keep pace with Bayern and force them to compete until the extra time round according to Lopetegui cannot be considered mediocre.
“We were not able to maximize the opportunity. They have an extraordinary Neuer. However, we are very proud of this team, their attitude, their efforts, their mentality. They believe until the end,” said Lopetegui after the match as quoted by the official UEFA website.
“Losing always hurts, especially in the final and in games where we have a chance to win,” said Lopetegui.
“We had to suffer and we could hurt them, and they scored the winner at the most unexpected moment.”
“We’ve only been back training for 12 days and were able to match the best teams in Europe and force them into extra time, that’s more than most,” he said.
