Sevilla Defeats Manchester United, Qualifies for European League Semifinals

Manchester United was eliminated from the European League by Seville, after its defeat today in their quarter-final match.

The two teams met in the second leg of the European League quarter-finals, where Manchester United lost by three unanswered goals.

Seville had advanced with the goal of Youssef Al-Nusairi in the eighth minute of the first half, after taking advantage of a fatal mistake by defender Harry Maguire.

And the Moroccan, Youssef Al-Nusairi, managed to open the score early in the 8th minute, taking advantage of English defender Harry Maguire’s mistake in passing the ball.

Seville added the second goal through Lucas Ocampos, but the referee canceled it for offside, so the first half ended in favor of the landowners (1-0).

And the Andalusian club returned to confirm its superiority over its competitor in the second half, by adding the second goal by the player, Loic Badi, in the 47th minute, before Moroccan Youssef Al-Nusairi scored his second and third personal goal for his team in the 81st minute.

With that result, Sevilla got the qualifying card to the semi-finals of the European League, especially since the first leg ended in a 2-2 draw.

It is noteworthy that Seville will face Juventus in the European League semi-finals, according to the draw.
