Idumbo Muzambo’s contract expires this summer. Ajax wanted to renew with the eighteen-year-old attacker, but it recently became clear that he wants to leave Amsterdam. Now Romano and Relevo report that a transfer is as good as complete. All parties have reached an agreement, only the final wrinkles still need to be ironed out. Idumbo Muzambo is expected to travel to Seville in the coming hours.
Ajax therefore seems to still earn something from the Belgian talent, who came over from the Belgian KAA Gent in the summer of 2021. Nothing is reported about the exact transfer fee. Tottenham Hotspur was also in the race for Idumbo Muzambo, but he opted for a move to Seville.
