Invaders systematically destroy Ukrainian cities

The Russian army has the task of completely capturing Severodonetsk by June 10 or cutting off the Lisichansk-Bakhmut highway, Sergey Gaidai noted.

The Ukrainian military pushed back the Russian invaders in Severodonetsk. Each side controls approximately half of the city. The head of the Lugansk OVA, Serhiy Gaidai, spoke about this on air on the Dom channel on Sunday morning, June 5.

“We had a difficult situation. I spoke about this, which is really Russians controlled 70 percent of the city. But over the past two days, they threw it away, the city is now conditionally divided in half,” Gaidai said.

According to him, the invaders are now afraid to freely walk around the city, because they have suffered heavy losses of personnel over the past few days. In addition, eight Russians were captured by the Ukrainian military.

Gaidai also said that the Russian army has the task of completely capturing Severodonetsk by June 10 or cutting the Lisichansk-Bakhmut highway and taking it completely under control.

“Therefore, now there is a huge amount of forces, all the reserves – everything is thrown to carry out these two tasks,” the head of the UVA summed up.

Formerly British Intelligence appreciated the counterattack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Severodonetsk. It is said that the operational momentum that Russian forces had previously gained through the concentration of combat units and firepower has been nullified.
